As Prescribed recreates my experiences taking new medications. I have had prescribed pills save my life, as well as send me into dangerous mental states. Every time I am faced with a new one to try, it feels like I am playing roulette with the side effect list. Only after the medication is in my body will I know if it is going to help or harm me. The process I used to print this work reflects that game of chance. For each piece I printed an image of my body that I collected from prior medical testing. While exposing the print, I placed pill after pill on top of the image so the final result would reveal an unknown disruption of an assortment of medication.
